Sheaulee & Nady with Kate Triano!

What can I saw about shooting this amazing day with Kate Triano?

Well, it was a beautiful day at a beautiful location with a very beautiful couple! What more could a photographer ask for?

I love the "getting ready" details!

Isn't Sheaulee just stunning?

And her girls?

When I said I love "getting ready" details, I really meant that I love all wedding details! Here are a few from the ceremony!

awwwwwww...

What a simple and elegant cake. Love it!

I love the expressions in this shot.

Nady rockin' out with his dad.

And then the drinks started flowing...
It was one wild party, and that's all I'll say about that!

James & Nicole - Engagement Portraits in DC!

On October 12th I headed into DC to shoot engagement pictures for James & Nicole. We had a good time shooting by the Capitol as well as wandering around in Georgetown. They were super cool and up for anything. They are getting married next year, on the same day as Jonathan and I but in Portland (I think) so unfortunately I will not get the honor of being their wedding photographer. HOWEVER, we plan to do a rockin' Mr. & Mrs. session after their wedding next year when they get back to DC!

Onto the photographic goodness!

Carley & Steven - The Day After!

The day after their fab wedding we went out to play in the apple orchard where I shot Lizzie's pictures just a few days prior. There were a lot less apples on the trees but we still got some awesome images!

I loved this session! I highly recommend a Mr. & Mrs. Session to anyone!

Carley & Steven - THE WEDDING!!!!!

What I am writing about today is the wedding I shot for one of my great friends on September 27th! It was amazing and TOTALLY unique! I cried like a baby just about the entire day! The wedding took place in an old restored movie theater in Ohio, and they really did up the movie theme. Steven who is an amazing artist, created the movie posters (using our e-session pictures), the animated arch that was on the movie screen during the ceremony, as well as a 40 minute movie that played while we went out to take some pictures. Oh AND he also designed their fab invitations.

I had a blast and am so in love with these images!

mmm popcorn & bling!

Here is a picture of one of the incredible posters:

Steven was up on a ladder setting the spotlight and I captured this awesome silhouette shot.

Our striking Groom all ready to go!

Carley getting ready:

I love this shot, it was taken just before the ceremony and I caught Carley taking a deep breath before she walked upstairs to marry the man of her dreams in front of all their love ones. How intense!!

Ceremony:

Married!!!

I think this is my favorite shot, I love the vintage feel that it has.

mmmm cake!!

And one with me!
